DALLAS - Parts of North Texas could see rain and scattered storms on Thursday. A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for Denton and Cooke counties until 5 p.m. Storms in those areas northwest of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex are capable of producing up to quarter-sized hail, according to the National Weather Service.

We may see some lingering showers early Saturday morning, but the clouds will turn to sun and drier air will make for a nice day with highs in the low 70s.

This evening's storms could produce very heavy rain, and up to quarter-sized hail, with winds around 50 miles per hour in spots as they move through.

DALLAS - Almost everyone in North Texas will see rain by Monday. Sunday will be cloudy, muggy and a chance of showers with a high near 80 degrees. Afternoon and evening storms would bring the chance of severe weather with wind and a low tornado threat.
