The province has three major islands: Choiseul, Wagina, and Rob Roy. Choiseul Island has a land area of 3,294 square kilometres ; Wagina's is 243 square kilometres ; Rob Roy's is 200 square kilometres. Taro Island, the capital of the province, has an area of 1.5 square kilometres.
